Alexandr Pavlovich Verschinin

Prof. Dr. Alexandr Pavlovich Verschinin, Doctor of Law, Professor. In 1983 graduated from Leningrad State University, Department of Law. In 1986 was awarded the degree of Candidate of Sciences in Law (Doctoral Degree, Dr.), in 1998 was awarded the degree of Doctor of Sciences in Law (Higher Degree, Habilitation). In 1990-2000 underwent several study courses, was engaged in research activity and worked in Germany. In 2000 was invited to the University of Vienna (Austria) as a visiting professor; in 2008 – to the University of Latvia (Riga). In 2006 – 2009 led the interdepartmental master’s program of the Department of Law on energy law; from 2007 – Law Department Dean Deputy for International Affairs. From May 2009 – heads the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library. Has published over 120 research works (among them: 8 monographs and tutorials, about twenty of works are in German language). The most known are the monographic works: Energy Law. St. Petersburg, 2007; Foreign-economic Law. Moscow, 2001; Choosing the means of civil rights protection. St. Petersburg, 2000; Electronic document: legal form and evidence in court. Moscow, 2000.
