Author Biographies

Rosalba Cilione

Rosalba Cilione graduated in Historical and Artistic Studies from La Sapienza University in Rome, and completed her post-graduate studies in Historical and Artistic Heritage from that same university. Since 2010 she has worked with the Bio- iconographic Archive and the Historical Collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art (Rome). She has also worked on archives of 20th century artists. Since 2011 she has been working for the Archives of 20th Century Italian Applied Arts and assisting with the Partage Plus project.


Simona Pandolfi

 Simona Pandolfi graduated in Historical and Artistic Studies from the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of La Sapienza University in Rome. For the last four years, she has worked with the Historical Collections Archive of the National Gallery of Modern Art, with a particular focus on the Archives of 20th Century Italian Applied Arts. She previously worked with public and private archives, curated several exhibitions, and is a founding member of the ARtCHIVIO Social and Cultural Association. After her graduation she published two essays on Carlo Carrà:“Carrà verso l' 'antigrazioso' (1914-1916). Dall' 'Art nègre ' ai primitivi italianiâ€, in “Rolsa†n. 10/2008; and “Carrà 'critico' degli artisti francesiâ€, in “Storia dell'arteâ€, n. 131, 2012, n. 1. She is currently working for the Partage Plus - Art Nouveau European project.
