Colonial Williamsburg and The Idea of America

William E White

Abstract

For more than 50 years The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation has employed media as a tool for extending the institution’s mission. This description of Colonial Williamsburg’s The Idea of America, a new high school curriculum project, offers a glimpse of what that potential might be.
