Author Biography

Roxanne Wyns, Royal Museums of Art and History, Brussels, Belgium

wyns.jpg Roxanne Wyns studied History of Art and Archaeology at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) with a focus on post-medieval archaeology, museology and ollection database management. Since 2005, she has been employed by the Royal Museums of Art and History (KMKG), a scientific research institute that functions under the Federal Belgian Science Policy. Here she now works for the department of digital collections, mainly specialising in standards and multilingual (SKOSified) thesauri. She is also involved in two European digitisation projects, ATHENA and MIMO, and several internal projects concerning data publishing.
