Helena Patrício

patricio.jpg Helena Patrício has been the Director of the Information Systems Services at the National Library of Portugal (NLP) since April 2007, where she is in charge of the National Digital Library and the NLP information systems. She is also responsible for the management of several national digitisation projects and for the NLP participation in European Projects such as TelPlus,?E-books on Demand? and Europena v.1.0. Helena Patrício graduated in Law in 1996, and post-graduated in Library and Information Science in 1998. She holds a master degree in Information Studies and Digital Libraries, awarded in 2004 with the thesis ?Comparative analysis of the relational model and the RDF applied to the conceptual modelling of legislative information?.
