Author Biographies

Nadia Kirichenko

Nadia Kirichenko is Head of Department of Electronical processing of the Maksymovych Scientific Library of the Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University. She is also a member of Scientific-Methodical Librarian Commission. Nadia has participated in developing a national format Ukrmarc. She is an expert in the field of bibliographic description, of linguistic software of ALIS etc.

Dmytro Lukin

Dmytro Lukin is a librarian of the rare books' department, the Maksymovych Scientific Library, the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. He achieved master's degree in history in 2006 at Kyiv National University, Faculty of History, where he studied medieval history. Now he is taking part in digitization and scientific description of old printed books.

Oleksiy Mikitenko

Oleksiy Mikitenko is a system administrator of  the Maksymovych Scientific Library network. Under his management and his design was carried out the technical and the technological project of creating a digital repository. He graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Instituteâ€
