held in Warsaw, Poland in 1997. The conference explored issues of building national information infrastructures and implications for global connectivity in creating a civil society. The Internet and online conference technologies (digital imagery, text, CuSeeMe video conferencing software, streaming video) were used to extend the conversation to the world. Embedded within the conference is a simultaneous global conversation among scholars and students spread across seven time zones located on two continents in real time.Downloads
